*just writing this because i assume that a lot of new posters/members are viewed with a healthy amount of cautious suspicion.
interests:
-crystalisation (currently seeking to make a bastardised version of a storm glass/lavalamp/crystal farm). looking at materials that are temperature or saturation sensitive (in solution)in a closed system ie small temp/solvent changes can initiate crystalisation or revert it back to solution.
-survivalism: how to be self sufficient if/when society falls apart and we cant just get everything we need delivered to us and all our healthcare and utilities ect are no longer on tap.
-repurposing and recycling and reducing waste; general hippy stuff like using the power of the sun and using hacks and mods to rail against planned obsolescence. i am not an 'activist' or anything agressive ....i just think its unsustainable and want to put up better solutions.
i dont want to be that person who says 'i dont need to knowh ow the engine works i just insert key, twist to the right and steer.'
