Have you investigated your jackpot and found anything that details it as such? In there are dead links, run-of-the mill overpriced companies, big sellers that do not deal with amateurs, highly specialized instrumentation dealers, etc. Granted, there are some neat sites in there but for it to truly be useful to the hobbyist the list needs a little pruning.

Sigh, I work in a lab myself, I'm going through that list and I recognize quite a few of them: Fischer, Aldrich, etc. They won't sell to you, unfortunately.

Some of them are worse than others, Fisher for example won't sell ANYTHING at all to you. It's not like there is anything inherently illegal (as far as I know) about selling non-listed chemicals to individuals, it's just in this age of lawsuits and meth lab hysteria, they decide it's not worth it. That and an individual will likely not spend enough to be worth their time.

I hate that, but if you poke around, do some research, and use your head you can still find/make lots of different chemicals.

Actual lab supplies (like glassware, hotplates, etc.) are far easier to come by.

i wonder if the "lab depot inc" sells to individuals?

Doubt it, that looks a little too good to be true (maybe a little TOO good to be true).

ya, look in their chemicals, they say METHAMPHETAMINE HCL and MORPHINE SULFATE? WTF?
