When I go to other forum websites I am a member of, the icon beside the sub-forums change when there is a new post in them. There is a legend at the
bottom of this forum site indicating that this one should do the same, but it does not for me.
It makes it difficult to keep up with the latest posts - I find myself clicking on the "Today's Posts" link.
Does anyone else have this problem (or a solution)?

I think the reason is the icon for "new posts" is the same as the "you've posted in this thread" icon. And both of those get overridden by the "hot
topic" icon.
