Symmetrical Firing Dimmer

pyro6314 - 23-9-2009 at 21:44

bio2 claims he previously posted a schematic in one of the dimmer threads with modifications to a standard 600W household dimmer to prevent the low end dropout and make the control more linear.
I have searched through all his previous posts and searched high and low to no avail.
If anyone still has this schematic kicking around or can help me out that would be greatly appreciated.

Doesn't ring a bell.

Why is it important?

If you need low voltage control, you should probably switch to a transformer to cover that range more accurately.

I would ask bio2 but he doesn't seem to be around anymore.

Thanks
