I'm trying to purify dipropylamine by distilling it over koh in a nitrogen stream. I have a Y adapter going into the boiling flask with the nitrogen
going in through a bubbler in one arm and the condenser in the other.
The dpa started boiling at 80C. It got up to 95 but stayed at 95 for a long time. The glass is hot up to where the nitrogen arm joins the other arm.
The bubbler is going slow like around 1 bubble per second.
Is there a better way to set this up?
