I bought this a couple years ago from a regular supplier of mine in USA.
It is a magnetiic ballast type power supply for Hanovia 450 W medium pressure Hg vapor arc lamps as used in Ace's quartz or borosilicate, water cooled
immersion wells.
I planned to maybe have this rewound for 220 V 50 Hz, but this proved uneconomocal. Nor am I sanguine about runnimn yjid on a stepdown transfor,er. So
I think this 110 V 60 Hz US voltage unit should go back to USA as is.And I now have a locally made 220V 400 W ballast and lamps, so this uniy is
surplus to my needs.
