do anyone have any idea how much mercury there is in a lcd screen? like appox a 20 ince screen? how feasible would it be to somehow fish it out?:D:(:)

Conventional TFT screens use mercury vapor lights as backlights, so yes, there is mercury in there. However, the amounts are as small as those found in regular fluorescent lights and not worth the effort.

Vulture has it. Modern fluorescent light generally have less than 10 mg of mercury in them . Recovery of that small amount requires a bit of trickiness, it is done commercially but they are processing a large number of those and are willing to put money into the equipment.
