There is a supplement I am interested in taking for its health benefits. Its called nicotinamide riboside. Its a modified form of vitamin B3.
Only problem is that it is outrageously expensive So I was thinking what would be the likely product of mixing inexpensive nicotinic acid or
nicotinamide with D Ribose powder in water?brubei - 5-4-2019 at 14:01
Thanks for that brubei, I was not that far off though?

yep just add phosphate and enjoy D4RR3N - 8-4-2019 at 04:35
I have been searching for any confirmation that D-Ribose can be converted to alpha d-ribose-1-phosphate by adding a phosphate source, so far can not
find anything. Dilute Phosphoric acid is commonly used in fizzy drinks so was thinking of using that.
I suspect however it will be more complicated than that
