Raising crystals and changing crystal colors

PaulineSinclair - 17-5-2019 at 19:40

I am trying to raise the crystal, but I don't know how to keep them in the same way but only change their colors

You need to be a whole lot more specific.
What do you mean by "raise"?

What chemical are you crystallising?

I think she wants to grow crystals of the same shape, but different colours.

I'd advise using ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (NH4H2PO4, ADP) and a variety of food colourings for separate batches.

Alums have octahedral shape and different colours - aluminum alums are colourless, vanadium alums are green, ferric alums are pale violet, chrome alums are dark violet.
