It is difficult to find information about the formation of metaphosphoric acid HPO3 from the heating of phosphoric acid. Posters on various Q&A
type websites claim that when phosphoric acid is heated beyond ~300 C metaphosphoric acid will begin to form, but I cannot find a primary source. Can
anyone find a source, or share their own experience?
