Determining catalyst activation energy (Ea), when moles (M) and temperature (k) are identical.

I'm not sure if this belongs in this forum or the beginners forum, but I am presenting this question for the mathematically inclined to respond.

I am having a discussion about how the chemical activation energy for a catalyst to initiate a transition state is determined when concentration and temperature are identical.

I am aware of how to identify the reaction rate law, rate law constant, activation energy and frequency factor, and I also know the calculation for measuring the effect of a catalyst (e*-Ea/RT), however I am having trouble trying to identify how I determine the Ea for the catalytic reaction (kJ mol-1) in order to plug it in to the equation, when concentration and temperature are identical to the non catalytic reaction.

I have a feeling I am overlooking something very obvious.

Any ideas?
