nzlostpass - 22-8-2020 at 07:17

Is there anyone in NZ or elsewhere who could sell/send me 50-100 gms of NaBH4?
Thank you.

These guys ship to Aus so presumably the same is true for NZ. They do have massive delays for delivery at the moment though. Not sure what the current delay is like, but I last ordered from them in April and it showed up in August.

I did order some from them prior lockdown and it arrived much later.
Not because of the Russian post though.

The Post in Russia has improved a lot these past few years but nothing you can do about the Covid crisis...

In any case, I've had an Ukrainian friend living in Poland staying at home this week and that's his opinion on the Post Office situation to this day:

- Russia, still not back to normal
- Ukraine, still not back to normal (& see below)
- Poland, back to normal but... still complicated to send something from Poland to countries that they have few exchanges with.

Apparently it's not uncommon for these countries to store parcels until there's a big enough volume to ship.
A few months ago I was in the post office and a lady wanted to send a parcel to Tunisia. The post office lady tried to explain to her that she could not take her parcel as she couldnt even select Tunisia as a destination...

So I guess there's normal and normal...

The thing is, if you're thinking of sending parcels and not letters, GLS or other couriers are much cheaper in these slavic areas. Polish Post sends to most countries of the world, but it often takes a while.

These are the countries Poland can and cant send to....as you can see, NZ isnt even listed and Australia you cant send priority parcels to so Mario for instance who only uses priority cannot send to me.

Thanks for the link though, I shall look into it. I found some on ebay but the listing got pulled.

I can't see your link.
Not sure if you looked at what I posted above, but Chemcraft is based in Russia not Poland.

Everyone else must have got there first as they only had 10 grams left! Couldnt up the quantity from 1 either. Hopefully they have more soon.
