This is just some information spread across the web collected into one place
This is the biggest one ive been wanting to use
H3O+ = H3O+
Code:
H3O+ = H[sub]3[/sub]O[sup]+[/sup]

Subscripts can be inserted by pressing this button
bb_subscript.gif - 278B
Superscripts can be inserted by pressing this button
bb_superscript.gif - 280B

Or
$$\mathrm{Mg}(s)+2\mathrm{H_3O^+}(aq) \to \mathrm{Mg^{2+}}(aq)+\mathrm{H_2}(g)+2\mathrm{H_2O}(l)$$
Code:
$$\mathrm{Mg}(s)+2\mathrm{H_3O^+}(aq) \to \mathrm{Mg^{2+}}(aq)+\mathrm{H_2}(g)+2\mathrm{H_2O}(l)$$

Most standard bbc codes will work as well
https://www.bbcode.org/reference.php

Latex is used to properly display mathematics
$$\alpha=\frac{d\omega}{dt}$$
Code:
$$\alpha=\frac{d\omega}{dt}$$

Hope this helps someone

Look up the thread, Two tools you did not know you had"
Latex is in there. It is supported.
I just don't use it enough to get familiar with it.
