Polyisobutylene Extraction?

I recently extracted what I think is polyisobutylene from blu tack. My extraction is as follows:

I boiled a strip of blu tack in about 200ml naptha for an hour. i decanted the somewhat clearish layer of naptha on the top while all the fillers in the blu tack stayed in the bottom section of the beaker. Acetone was added until a gummy precipitate was obtained, then more acetone added to ensure all polyisobutylene precipitated. The precipitate was filtered then washed in more acetone, then set out in the air to evaporate all solvents left.

My questions are:
1)is this a feasible extraction process?
2)are there other extraction processes?
3)what is the solubility of polyisobutylene in naptha?
4)are there any other solvents of choice for this extraction?

...and if this has been answered somewhere else please let me know.

Are you going to use it to make something useful out of it? Maybe depolymerize it?
