Hi,
found a nice, free, source for quartz, both ends open, tubes.
Its from UV-C germicidal lamps.
The type I have are model GPH357T5l/4.
Please refer to attached photos.
To clarify measurements - the exposed glass is around 300mm long and around 16mm outside diameter.
Obviously, the lamps need to be cut and metal vapours residue cleaned with piranha solution or similar.
If anyone would like some I have few spares. Pick up or maybe delivery in person possible from/to:
UK: Medway, London or between these two.
Potentially Spain: Badalona, Almeria, possibly anywhere between Malaga - Blanes, but on very tight timing

I think I have some burnt out ones from UV lamps somewhere, if anyone in the US is interested, maybe short and long ones (~4 and 8"). Or buy a
non-working UV lamp, fix the bulb and get a free quartz tube included. I have lots.
