Alcohol mixture

I bought very cheap alcohol mixture that says 96 percent alcohol (!?) but when I check the ingradients there is written 35% isopropyl and 65% ethanol. Could this still be useful as solvent for many things? Maybe alkyl halides could be still formed with it and then I would need to separate isopropyl chloride and ethyl chloride.

Would that ethanol interfere with aluminium isopropoxide reaction?
