I need to prepare Iodine Pentoxide in a nano sized powder. What are the various ways can I obtain I2O5?

What do you need it for? I think it is a very reactive oxidizer which can spontaneously ignite upon contact with reducing materials.

Im a research assistant and im having trouble finding how to creating these particles via sol gel method. The use of the particles after i produce them with be for Al+I2O5=Al2O3+I reaction.

Best place is to look in the literature.
