Glues/adhesives for nitric acid solutions

nora_summers - 1-4-2012 at 15:48

Hi hi!

I want to glue together some sensors and electrodes that will be submersed in nitric acid solutions. They're too sensitive for me to simply melt the plastic tube onto them.

Can anyone suggest some glues or adhesives that would do the trick?

What is the nitric concentration of the solution? Are you sure the plastic tube, sensors, and electrodes can handle the acid?

the solutions are about 5%-20% nitric acid. Yes, I'm sure the components can withstand soaking in the nitric acid.

Epoxy.
