how long can homocystiene be stored in buffered solutions at -20C? Is the presence of an antioxidant absolutely necessary in the solution?Thanx

At -20, you could store it for quite some time. All you need to worry about is oxidation, which is not going to happen fast when it's frozen.

Nonetheless, I would always include reducing agents, such as DTT, beta mercaptoethanol or TCep.
