Is this a secret chemical, L-serine methyl ester hydrochloride

Well guys i have been looking all over the internet and i cannot source this chemical L-serine methyl ester hydrochloride Nor can i find any synthesis papers.

Does this chemical have a different name ? It's not even found on Wikipedia

It is reasonably available but not cheap;

If you want it in serious quantities you should make it from L-serine which is as cheap as chips;

Recrystallize them from water or some alcohol containing water.

Well i am on a budget and wanting to try this without waiting for shipping times.

Are you saying to dissolve the L-serine powder in water then perform re-crystallization ? If so what type of recrystallization would you use ?.

Would this powder be able to recrystallize into the same as the picture crystal.

Miscommunication, I think.

If you want crystals of L-serine, then recrystallize it as krysto suggests. If you want the compound you mentioned in your original post then you will first need to esterify the amino acid. Use the search facility for esterification methods.

I want crystals but i am confused because the chemistry paper calls the crystals "Single crystal of l-serine methyl ester hydrochloride (LSMEHCl), was grown using slow evaporation solution growth technique. http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0022024811...

Which leads me to ask again, Will recrystallizing this powder let me create crystals such as the one in the photo

No, they are different things. Serine is an amino acid and serine methyl ester.HCl is an ester of it.

I assume that you only want to get something what is nice and crystalline (based on this and the menthol thread) and it does not matter what is it. So I would recommend to start with inorganics and when inorganic crystallization goes well, then start with easy organics.

Will 99% Pure L-Serine ( Powder Form ) Recrystallize ? And if so will it stay in its crystalline form in room temp and be able to grow bold crystals ?

If your answer is yes, What recrystallization would you use

First of all learn the basic physical concepts in regard to the melting point. It is obvious from your posts that you don't understand what a melting point is.

Besides, make up your mind on what exactly you want. L-Serine and L-serine methyl ester hydrochloride are two different compounds!
