KonkreteRocketry - 28-3-2013 at 05:56

can someone tell me some common solid fuels with high C and H and low O, for example, C15H16O2 aka bisphenol a. That i can purchase with ease ? thanks for answers.

Anthracene =>C14H10 is very easy to purchase. What is the intended use? In pyrotechnic mixtures you won´t get the stuff to burn completely, even as an additive in high explosive mixtures it seems to be not ideal.
Charcoal is maybe the best option, depending on the intended field of use.

Candle wax would suggest itself as a primary candidate...lots of lovely C and H, but no O. And it's a solid too...just.

Strzaly.pl sell anthracene very cheaply.
