Viton tubing for experiments?

I wanted to use rubber tubing in my experiments for a long time, but fuel, latex, and pvc tubing all become sticky and are essentially destroyed. I wonder if the 20$ for 10 feet of viton tubing wort it. Will it ever corrode?

Yes, because everything fails eventually. The right question is whether it lasts long enough to be a more economical choice than the available alternatives. Viton isn't magic, but it resists many things better than the cheaper and more available materials. The ratio of lifetimes and the ratio of costs will tell you whether it's worth it. You may have to acquire a bit of it first and test it for compatibility with whatever you're doing (unstated in your original post).

chlorine, ammonia, sulphur dioxide and all kind of other stuff pass in my tube at around 70 C. Usual rubber is "one use only".
