Anyone got some they can sell to me....? Please?
Else, I need to find a source, where could I possibly find this in Australia?

Jaycar sell mercury switches if you are only looking for very small amounts, otherwise, old mercury barometers have about 5-50g depending on the size.

im not too sure if some places here still sell thermometers using mercury. Small mercury switches can be bought on ebay but they come from- wait for it! china. in a pack of 20 or 25 for around 5$. The only problem besides the time it takes is dismantling them safely plus you need alot of them as there is only a drop in each one. I used nail clippers and a pin removing glass pieces from the Hg collected with duct tape. out of 100 i think i got 0nly 15g or so. i cant remember exactly. i was lucky to obtain Hg at a garage sale one day as the lady was selling some old thermometers for 3$ each and had 5 of them.
I snapped them up quicksmart. the largest one held 4.2g. this was a lucky find.

You can extract it from cannibar ore! McGyver method!

Isn't it true that buying glassware in Australia is almost impossible for the individual?
