Does anyone know how to get ephedrinehydrocloride from norephedrine. Thanks

Methylation.

With Ch3Cl is best but this is a gas form. I have Ch2Cl2 in liquid form only. How to do that?

It can also be done by reacting with formaldehyde to form an imine, and then reducing it. If you can find a rhodium.ws archive or mirror, check out "Synthesis of Phenylpropanolamine and (Pseudo)Ephedrine ".

Best if you check while viewing rhodium's archives , the methylation of amphetamine, in which it converts it to methamphetamine the chemistry is the same for SWIM particular application ..............solo
