CuSO4 solubility request

TeTeC - 23-9-2005 at 09:00

Hello everybody...

I'm trying to grow CuSO4 crystals. For the moment it works quite well, but I'd like to have more accuracy in my experiments.

That's why I'm asking you if you know a website, or anything that could give me the solubility of CuSO4 as a function of the temperature.

I didn't find anything with the search tool.

Thanks a lot !

From Lange's Handbook of Chemistry:

solubility of copper sulfate pentahydrate, in grams of solute per 100 grams of water at the specified temperature in degrees Celsius:

23.1 at 0
27.5 at 10
32.0 at 20
37.8 at 30
44.6 at 40
61.8 at 60
83.8 at 80
114 at 100

That helps, that's all I needed. ;-)

Thanks again !
