Look at all the metals this eBay seller has!

Germanium, tellurium, scandium, erbium, dysprosium,
gadolinum, samarium, gold, and many more, and these are not just little 5 and 10 gram lots, they're auctions for amounts between 50 grams and 5 kg for some things, I really really wish I had more money, but if someone has some extra money they should check this guy out.

I have used their ebay store before.
They also have a website with some nice things

I never realized all the sellers of rare and wonderful metals before, it's not like I often search for the Rare Earths or anything, here are two others.

BromicAcid, this really surprises me. I know these sellers quite some time and I obtained my niobium metal (see other thread) from www.emovendo.net, as well as the few other rare earths I have, and also my selenium, tellurium etc. I did not bother to mention this on sciencemadness, because I thought all those hard-core home chemists like you (who have much more experience than I have, and this is not meant sarcastiscly :)) did know this already.

Emovendo is my favorite seller. Very friendly and also reasonable prices, albeit not really cheap. But still MUCH cheaper than chemical supply houses. For instance, 30 grams of 99.999% selenium for $9 + $1.60 for shipping worldwide, that is really great. Another interesting thing is 1 pound of 99.99% bismuth for just $15 or so. I used this to make my bismuth subnitrate. The site www.emovendo.net I actually find more interesting than the eBay auctions.

Just a word of warning. Do not let the VERY strong magnets be shipped overseas. I'm quite sure that will give troubles. I doubt whether Emovendo will do that, but I simply do not let it do myself, just to avoid troubles. All elements, except iodine, are shipped internationally.

I also order from him. He is a very honest seller (when I overpaid for one of my metals--think it was 5lbs of bismuth) he sent me the remainder: I probably would have never noticed my mistake. I try to order from him whenever I can if I have a need for a metal or magnet unless it is something unique (like a mesh or plate) which I'll order from Alfa or Advent.

The sheer size of those ingots is utterly amazing, particularly the 2.4kg bar of tellurium :o
