Looking for Medicinal Leeches

lordmagnus - 15-2-2006 at 22:03

Anyone have any of the MEDICINAL LEECHES or know of a source for them? I can get other blood sucking leeches (my ex for one example, hahah) but I am looking for the Medicinal ones in particular, CAROLINA (if their site ever goes back up), and WARDS have them, but don't sell to individuals, I could fake a company to get some, but would rather purchase some more legitametely. I still need to construct a holding tank for them anyway.

Is there really any difference between lake leaches and medicinal leaches?

Yes, the price.

I can't help you with tracking down medical leaches but I'm sure I'm not the only one to wonder what you want them for. If you have a legitimate reason I'm sure that you should be able to purchase them. On the other hand if you want them for something frivolous (or perhaps to feed them, deep fry them and sell them as mini black puddings) I guess you will not be able to buy them.

Just order from them (cheap), or get another blood sucking girlfriend (expensive).:P

lordmagnus - 9-3-2006 at 17:42

Hahahaha, that's a good one :P

Oh I do want them for legitamate purposes, mostly to treat all the various bumps and bruises I get working, and on my side jobs, and also as a curiosty, I am gonna setup a special second aquarium with them. Thanks for all the info everybody, I'll try to put it to good use.

DrP - 10-3-2006 at 02:39

:D Are you really going to use them on your own bruises, won't a steak or some ice packs do?

What's your job which gives you all these bruises anyway??:(:D

Just read his "Mood" and "Quote", and you will know. Apparently he lost his last Fight, for he is now desperately seeking Susanna. :(

Come to Holland, and visit Amsterdam, ... the Hookers are good here. A good Masseuse doesn't need any Leeches to cure the Patient.:D
