i think that if we take the m-xilene and oxidice it with fenton,reagent for example wi´ll take resorcin yuuujuuuuuuuuu!!

i think this would work with m-cresol too
and that takes me to other question..
is available to sinthetice m-cresol from fenol and methanol?
