I figured some people here would appreciate this

Very cool!

I use the DMT molecule as an avatar on the distillation forum I post on.

Be prepared for a LOT of "Oh, That's nice", and "Ummm Ok".

You know what will throw them off further? Matching Bar Code!

Got it!!! For a back piece you can do the chemical name for Titin!

That's funny. And even better in that I instantly recognised it. I have come a ways!
I am not likely to get any ink but I will present you with a highly appropriate accessory to a coffee mug.

Ahh, caffeine.

I chose mine for 2 reasons, one being the relative symmetry of it, and the second being the fact that it's the energetic substance upon which others are measured against.

If the nitrogens have a + sign indicated, shouldn't three of the oxygens have the opposite charge shown?

I wonder if anyone has testosterone tatooed on their body.

[edit]
And sure enough...

Yes, and now that you pointed that out it's annoying me. But thankfully I'm going back in for some more work and can have him add those 3 little lines.

Nice TNT...picric is also good as a reference.

@Thanatops1s,
I quite sure you like the Energetic Materials folder :D;)

That is awesome! I want to get the Nitrogen atom tattooed on me. Mainly because nitrogen is very important in nitro and amine type compounds (basically is the only reason they exist) and those types of compounds are fascinating. Nitrogen is ridiculously important in chemistry for so many reasons it is the one thing I would get tattooed on me. That or “oxide” as its been my unofficial name for like video games where you pick your name but that’s no where near as relevant to my life, and life in general, as nitrogen.

I've always wanted to get the CNO cycle as a big back piece.

Thanks. But when you get into it, most elements have fascinating properties. I've always thought of calcium as having under-appreciated chemistry.
