decomposition products of Potassium Bitartrate

Cant seem to find this any where so I was decomposing potassium bitartrate by heating
And it gives of a burning smell what is the chemicals produced besides carbon and potassium carbonate that is responsible for the smell

Volatile products probably include ethylene glycol, ethylene oxide, acetaldehyde, formaldehyde, glyoxal, and small amounts of larger molecules. This happens generally by removal of the carboxylate groups and elimination of water from the diol.

I don't know the specifics.
