What happens when sodium hydroxide was added to the hydrochloric acid solution after it has been neutralized?

NaOH + HCl -> NaCl + H2O

After neutralization you just have a solution of NaCl in water. When more NaOH is added, then that goes into solution and you end up with a solution containing Na(+) ions, Cl(-) ions and OH(-) ions.
