I am looking for the chemical compound of "Safran" which colors yellow to orange. I still could not find any hints about the name of the compound that
causes this color.
Does anyone of you know about it or has a website or pdf.document about it ?

Crocin - that's it ... the most close solution (wikipedia) seems to be the best solution
