Project

Hello everybody,
I am hoping someone can help me with a small dilemma I have. I am currently studying for A-Levels in the UK and I have decided to apply to do a EPQ, a extended project qualification, which includes producing an essay, research and a presentation on a specific topic. The topic must be something out of the scope of high school/a-level education and relatively important in society. Also the idea must be simple and interesting to a non-scientific audience.

I am struggling to come up with a project title relating to chemistry, but if anyone could help I would very grateful. Thank you in advance. :)

Thanks aga for replying- your idea of batteries is a good one but I prefer organic chemistry.

Is there not an area that interrests you and/or looks like a career path ?
look who is hiring, what they specialise in, consider approaching them for suggestions/assistance/guidance or offer your free collaboration/assistance

Alternatively, if nothing strikes your fancy,
who ever evaluates your project probably has a list of 'pet projects' that you could contribute towards,
you may be a student but you are also an adult, have a sensible chat along the lines of
I need good results, you want work done ... let's go ! and 'can I be co-author? ' :)

Thank you all for helping, I have come up with an idea- I will do my project about the chemistry and history of pigments- referring to permanence, toxicology and art restoration.
