24/40 ptfe sleeves required

Can anyone point me to a cheap source for 24/40 ptfe sleeves ?

Although my Chinese NS24 glassware is good value,
I feel that the joints do not fit/seal as well as my Quickfit glassware,
also
I do not like the trade-off between potentially frozen joints, and grease pollution.

What do you call "cheap"? I know where they can be had in the US, but I'd almost rather have the grease, for the price they want.

I have the same problem with some of my Chinese glassware. I checked the fit with lipstick. Some joints had the angle slightly wrong one appeared to be distorted. I now check all new ones against some quickfit I have.

I searched for ptf sleeves but did not find any that cost less than the price I paid for the glass.

I have tried plumber's PTF tape. Its seems effective but I have not tried it with vacuum.

I have also searched for details of how the joints are ground but only found general info.
