Trying to make my first boom, figured I would start with powdered potassium nitrate and something else, my only question is there anything I can add
to make it react faster/ make a bigger boom?

Potassium nitrate sulfur and charcoal
Or activated charcoal

If you have to ask such a simple question in no way should you be playing with this stuff and start to do a crap load more learning!
You have to earn it by educating your self on the basics. This is for YOUR safety and those around you.
