I have a friend who is currently paying approximately $1000/gram for a particular peptide and is looking for cheaper sources - does anyone know any
good sources for small quantities of custom peptides, preferably in the United States?

How long is the peptide? Does it have any unusual features (like being branched or cyclic)? Depending on how hard it is to make (and purify),
$1000/gram may be a reasonable price.
