hello everybody
i want to know some of the methods for doing alpha tosylation of acetophenones......many methods that i had searched uses hypervalent iodine
reagents like Koser's reagent(HTIB) and IBX with PTSA. These methods though good but very expensive, so i need some methods which do not use
hypervalent iodine reagents.
