I just ran across this resource on the DIYBio mailing list; it's a set of reviews/discussions/links for DIY lab ware. A lot of it is specific to
molecular biology (vortex mixers, micropipetters, thermocyclers) but others are generally useful (3D printed labjack!). Other parts look like a survey
of the state of DIY development.
