The fact that you can speak clearly in some parts of the video means that you were not wearing a gas mask - the dust can get you too.
Pt refiners tend to die young, so Nickvc told me, so stay Safe my friend !

Sounded like he was doing the whole procedure in a fume hood. Not perfect protection, but pretty good.
Had no idea Platinum Salts were so toxic.
Usta work with 'em on occasion. Never had a problem.
On the other hand, I usta treat pretty much everything I worked with, as if it were highly toxic. Kinda paranoid, actually.
Quite possibly the reason, I have attained this ancient age, without developing the severe cooties, or the advanced heebie-jeebies.
