So, I woke up this morning with superpowers

I have been asked to join the team of moderators. I did not know that I would become a supermoderator, but there you have it.
Actually I am not really sure what my superpowers actually are: I'd really like maximum yield and zero mechanical losses. Nah, scratch that. The ability to over-ride the first two laws of thermodynamics would be cool.

Anyway, I see this as my opportunity to give back to a community that has given me so much. To my knowledge, this board is unequalled in both content and style. I am happy to make a small investment of time to help keep it that way.

Chemetix, that's deep. Probably a bit too deep for me to follow. I admit I am not a Nietzsche fan.

CJ, I don't think I get a ban-hammer. Apparently I have subservient admins who can do that on my behalf. Or at least I think that's how it worked. Thor has a bit of a rich accent and I didn't quite follow everything he said when he was explaining the hammer thing.

To the others, thanks for the support. I'll do my best. If I accidentally throw your prepub into detritus I'll need to ask your forgiveness. If your efforts legitimately end up in the fluffy bunnies thread then that is another thing entirely.
