Could anyone please tell me why is the Normal Distribution Curve important?what does it mean for us? and how can we comment on the bell curve?
I know how to calculate bell curve, mean and standart deviation but how can I explain the data?

thanks so much

See the Central Limit Theorem.

Basically, if you take many random values with nearly any kind of distribution at all (normal or not), the combination will approach a normal distribution.

We've used this site before for stats class. It is quite helpful http://wise.cgu.edu

Be sure to check out the Poissan distribution as well; it frequently is a more accurate model.
