So I was making ferrous chloride and after all my iron dissolved I filtered the solution into a glass bottle after a while the solution cooled and
made these crystals. So I transferred the solution into another bottle and it made even more crystals.
I'm thinking of keeping the first bottle but I'm not sure how to wash out the remaining solution out.
Afterwards I'm thinking of putting it in mineral oil to prevent oxidation.
Any ideas on washing it? I couldn't find much on it.
Also these look a lot better in RL my iPad camera couldn't pick up all the details.

try using acetone, i think some will be dissolved, but you just need the remove the excess solutions right? add small amounts of acetone, remove the
solution and repeat 2 or 3 times, let the crystal dry (they are wet with acetone so this is done in a few minutes) cover with mineral oil as you said

Also acetone can dissolve FeCl3, which is a common impurity.
