Ammonium Nitrate Prills for sale

Taperlocked - 30-9-2018 at 01:19

I have quite a stockpile of 34-0-0 fertilizer. Ammonium nitrate prills, they are coated, but for my own use I have just dissolved in distilled water, filtered and recrystalized them if I needed them very clean. If anyone is interested make me an offer. I can do just about any amount. You can email me at wheelert15@gmail.com
Thanks

This is an ineffective trap, try harder

If a real terrorist wanted to obtain ammonium nitrate it would not be from a random person offering it as their first post on an amateur chemistry forum.

Most people at least have the courtesy to introduce themselves first.

Paranoia strikes deep, eh?

Seems a bit misplaced here, Sulaiman...

possibly

hopefully Taperlocked will correct me.

P.S. first and only post offers stuff for sale using offsite contact = spam

(No offence)Because Sulaiman is muslim?

What, exactly, has Sulaiman's religion got to do with anything?

Considering that it is 100% legal for me to purchase ammonium nitrate or even to make bombs (as long as they do not create a nuisance and are not transported from private property), I'm not concerned that this might be a sting, but ammonium nitrate is one of those things that every amateur chemist owns and never really uses for much of anything unless stocks of other nitrate salts run dry.

I do believe, however, that this is spam.

Objection, as I don't have AN due to its uselessness to me:P

I prefer making my HNO3 via A.N. as the sulphated ammonia I can then use for an Ammonia gas generator, so I get twice the bang for my buck.

I how ever have plenty on hand, mind you be nice to get some pure stuff that needs less work up befor hand, and this is not that as I'd still have to recrystallize.

I'm more of a fan of potassium nitrate since it is non-hygroscopic. I have a fair amount of it, but you can never have too much potassium nitrate....

Me, Paranoid ?

As Taperlocked has not responded I assume the post was failed bait :D

On reflection; if a similar situation arises in future I shall probably not comment because:
. I may have frightened off a genuine new member
. Even a dumb trap may work
. It makes me look over-paranoid

You may think there is no connection,
but my son who buys equipment for his video business via Amazon,
and has never bought any chemicals online,
and does no agriculture,
was offered a suggested buy of ... wait for it ...
Bulk Ammonium Nitrate.

Although annoying and embarrassing,
it is a fact that the bulk of terrorism is currently attributable to people that call themselves Muslims,
as a member of a group I will be judged by the actions of the group.
It is human nature, unfortunate but unavoidable.
So I consider some degree of paranoia is 'natural'

THANK YOU for being rational, logical, and having a sense of humor on the issue! so many scream and whine about how life isn't fair rather then accepting the reality behind such things.

Refreshing to say the least!
