Please help, I need to ionize Cu and Zn with acid?

Cu disolves in hot H2SO4. I think Zn probably does too, not sure about that though.

You could also electrolyze them by using a copper or zinc anode and a stainless steel or carbon cathode. Use an electrolytic solution of magnesium sulfate. Check the Copper Sulpate thread in Electrochemistry.
