Could you sell esters as fragrances in farmer's markets?

there used to be a thread about ways to make money from chemistry, and someone suggested making fragrances and using your esterification apparatus as an interesting-looking attraction.

but i'm sure there must be some regulations, some kind of FDA shit, to make sure ppl aren't selling fragrances with traces of toxic reagents?

Selling for human consumption should be under FDA oversight,
but as 'aromatherapy' or 'air freshener' you are unlikely to do much harm.
