Does anyone know how soluble iodine is in DCM

I can't find a X amount of iodine in grams is soluble in X amount of DCM.i can find information on benzene,chcl3,ccl4 etc but not DCM.apparently chcl3 is about 50g/kg which isn't much.if anyone knows if it's more or less soluble than that it would help.

Well, that took 30 seconds...

https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/047084289X.ri005

Solubility: the solubility of iodine, expressed in g/kg of solvent at 25 °C is: H2O, 0.34; benzene, 164.0; CCl4, 19.2; CHCl3, 49.7; ethyl acetate, 157; ethanol, 271.7; diethyl ether, 337.3; n‐hexane, 13.2; toluene, 1875.12 Soluble glacial acetic acid; relatively insol dichloromethane.

Sight I seen the same info ended after the first 4 solvents.

So, it took you just 30 seconds to fail to answer the question. Congratulations!

I spent a little more time on it and I'm afraid I didn't find any useful data (on the solubility or the partition coefficient).

It's possible that this sort of thing would let the OP extrapolate from the other data.

I must have missed it.
What's values of X did you give in response to the query "I can't find a X amount of iodine in grams is soluble in X amount of DCM"?
