Golden Powder

I have previously made "golden powder" by cooking Potassium Nitrate and Ascorbic Acid in a pan with water. The dried powder is very volatile.

I was wondering if it is hazardous to mix Potassium Chlorate and Ascorbic Acid in water and boil into a dry solution? I know these two react strongly when dry powders are ignited. I have a suspicion this would be unwise to try??

Chlorate + acid -> self ignition.

But if you want more power, perchlorate is an option, there are some patents featuring this.

Gargamel has truth. But is possible use salt of ascorbic acid. Which is less reactive with KClO3. AA + H2O + NaOH or KOH + litmus paper. Arise Sodium Ascorbate or Potassium Ascorbate. PA give best results. Stability as dry powder 1 week without changes. Keep in plast away from others compounds. max 10g
