use of indole-3-carboxaldehyde

Hi All, i'm new in here - just one question that keeps me going for weeks now - what is indole-3-carboxaldehyd (indole-3-carbaldehyd, indole-3-aldehyd) used for??? I mean in "real life", not for any drug synth or something like that!
I'm searching and searching and all i can find is "for analysis" ...
Thanks for any hint!

It's used as some sort of agricultural chemical I think, I just came across it on google, I searched for 2-chloroethylphosphonic acid and there was a chinese supplier offering it in one kilo batches. Hope this helps.

As i found completely nothing yet while searching myself it helps indeed. It's at least a new starting point for researching. Thanks a lot!
It confuses me that it is mentioned very often but never for what it's used - pretty mysterious ... downright suspicious :)

The indole structure is the central backbone for tryptamines, which would probably be the reason why it is suspicious, check on the hive and UTFSE it, I wouldn't be at all surprised if there is something on the topic:D

Also, be careful about ordering any, if it is even legal in your country for this very reason:D

Indoleacetic acid and indolebutyric acid are used as plant growth stimulants.
Indole 3-carboxaldehyde is a direct precursor to DMT, DET and other hallucinogens, so it is probably not the safest thing in the world to purchase...
