reactions of biomagnification


let us remind what biomagnification is.It is ficsation of DDT in any human body , when DDT is somehow introduced through some foods.It is a fatal & uncurable one.Now the question is what reaction takes place &how do it ficsets?

Just to give you a reminder, you only mentioneda type of biomagnification. Biomagnification is a process which does not only occur with DDT. Which reactions are you mentioning? Are you asking about the effects of DDT on the overall cell metabolism, or are you asking about some reaction which is involved in absorbing the DDT (which I know nothing about). Another hint, biomagnification as you mentioned it does not occur only in the human body.

Here, the following site gives a clear definition of what biomagnification is (bioaccumulation is also mentioned, which is also important if you're studying ecology). The site also mentions the clasical example of DDT.
