MnCl2 and KMnO4

What happens quantitatively when you were to mix MnCl2 and KMnO4 together?

Depending on amounts you usually get a hydrated oxide of manganese precipitating, MnO2 if the permanganate is in excess. For the quantitive picture you need to juggle some oxidation states.

2 MnCl2 + 2 KMnO4 -> 2 KCl + 4 MnO2 + Cl2. Wouldn't count on that being quantitative, though.
